Hey there, I’m John Rawsterne and I work as a freelance web designer, front-end coder and illustrator. I’m based near Manchester in the UK and have been a freelancer for over 4 years. In that time, I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients from all over the world. I get lots of repeat work from happy clients. I guess that means that I’m doing something right.

When it comes to web design, I’m a stickler for the details. I hand code all HTML and CSS to ensure that it matches the design in all popular browsers. All front-end coding work is coded with standards based principles and accessibility in mind.

You’ll find me easy to work with. I’m friendly and approachable. I’m also professional and reliable. If we agree a deadline I’ll do my best to hit or even beat it.

I have lots of experience with a wide range of programs including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. I regularly design and code for ecommerce platforms. If you need a custom Shopify theme or custom Magento theme I’ll be happy to help.

I’m a big fan of using Wordpress as a CMS. It’s light, clean and extendible. This site is running on Wordpress. If you have a Wordpress project, I’d love to hear about it.
